Aside for the bad optimization and bad learning curve, at least for me, it's a good game, but not great. As always, great characters and story, but also ambiance and atmosphere. Gameplay isn't outstanding, but is doable and provides a good challenge. Overall, liked it, didn't love it.
I get why people loved it back in the day, but boy did it age badly. Basically unplayable by today's standard, but, as all The Witcher media, the characters and story is top notch.
Most say it's one of the best games of all time... I have to agree. Not my favorite genre of games (RPGs) and didn't like much the first and second games, but this is a good game, a great, no, an amazing game! Great story, characters, immersion, gameplay, graphics, great everything! It's a game that leave nothing to desired and delivers greatness and is well made in every aspect. Simply put, a true 10/10.
