The last of the Apogee line before they became 3D Realms and, to be honest...I'm not really a fan of this game. Now, granted, I'm not exactly the best at it either, but even so, the bosses at the end of each stage are way too damn tough, and it doesn't seem to matter what difficulty you've got the game on, or what attachments you buy for your ship. The story of Anachronox was great, full of excellent humor and surprising dark moments, with only one or two things I took issue with. I found the gameplay, however, to be somewhat flawed, particularly in the battles, which among other things were overly drawn out, impossible to skip and, depending on the person, potentially dizzying.
