I am able to open it, first it wanted me to install Windows Live to run, so I did. Now it starts up fine but when I click new game it freezes on the loading menu and crashing. (have tried turning gaming mode off, running as Admin, Compatibility mode Windows 7, also tried running in and outside of GOG Galaxy nothing changes it still freezes and crashes on loading to start new game) Will update if I figure out a way to fix this.
I got this game when it was free for a short period. I am glad I did. I found the turn-based style very boring, having to travel very long periods and the (kind of high) above-viewing also got to me. I have honestly never liked turn-based games (like Final Fantasy, etc.) but I thought I would try this, hoping to fill the big Fallout gap in me. It did not work. I gave this 3/5 stars because I know most everyone loves this game and just because I didn't like the style, doesn't mean it's not a "good game". Based on my liking I would have given it 1 star, but I compromised. BUT if you aren't into turn-based games this probably isn't for you.
