I don't have to say much about the gameplay. This game is great, the graphics not to bad to play today etc. But I wanted to tell you, that it works perfectly on a mac with crossover. On macs with wide-screen you see black bars on the right/left.
I will not write about the gameplay, but I want to warn if you run Windows 7 64bit. I do and after trying hour after hour I found the following out: 1. Changing to WinXP Compatibility Mode makes the videos and transitions work. 2. Save can crash but "Save as" does not 3. If you come to the clocktower and try to set the numbers inside, the game will crash after few seconds. So if YOU run Windows 7 64bit, I would NOT buy it.
I played this game when it came out back 1998 and still, I think it's the best adventure so far. No story is better and more fun than this! The only downside is the extremly hard puzzles, but should not be to hard to find a walkthrough and enjoy the game. Buy this game! THANK YOU GOG.COM!!!!
