have you ever wanted to roleplay 40k imperium, star trek klingon, earth aliance from babylon 5 or just about any sci fy empire you can imagine, or your own? this is the game, no way around it it is, unfortunately, a paradox game, and that means DLC out the backside, HOWEVER this one is more "modular" than Crusader kings of hearts of iron, all dlc are themed on one thing so, if you, for example, dont feel like undead empires, megacorps or what have ya, you can not get that DLC and dont lose part of the experience that said, while it IS great fun in singleplayer, you can get many, many hours of fun with it, with friends, be it in a "who beats the snot out the other first" or actual roleplay, is a grand time honest recomendation
theres nearly no meat in this game, its a 2 ending affair and even the most novice can get it done is a few hours or even less the art is very nice, and the feeling of weirdness of the place is great. However great they are, the game is just too thin on the game side of things if you didnt get it when it was gifted so long ago, and you REALLY want it, wait for a DEEP sale, like 2 euros, 3 at most
