Cossacks 3

Linux version not offered?

This is a great game, but for some reason the offering here does not include the Linux build? it does not happen often, but seems the Steam version is more complete. Besides this, a great game.

Layers of Fear (2016)

Walkabout in a maze-like manor

I didn't enjoy this game. This is not horror, but horrible... It is a walking game at best, and not even a good one as it the scary elements are all based on jump scares. Especially in the first part of the game almost any door will result in a scare, or whatever racket is unleashed. The later part is more interesting, due to the art... But still, the walking starts to feel maze-like. The only part I liked was the ending. God, finally it is over... Luckily, I made it! (The end is actually good, but not enough to justify the rest of the game)

Walkabout in a dystopia

A very boring walking simulator, which unlike their previous work (Layers of Fear), involves more interaction. The game feels lengthy and boring for no apparent reason... while their previous worked mostly on jumpscares, this effect does not work here. Besides, the voice-acting, although Rutger Hauer, feels very uninvolved and very emotionless at times. The other voices mostly come to you from the other side of the door and feels an answering machine instead of a dialogue in most cases. I do not recommend.

Too pricey

... at this cost it is simply not worth it.

Cultures: Northland + 8th Wonder of the World

Missing the Linux version of Northland

I expected to also find the Linux download of Northland, but it seems this is not included. Besides this, it is a fun game that certainly deserves your attention.

Z: The Game

Doesn't feel very responsive

... I am not sure why, but it doesn't feel as responsive as I expected. Especially since this remake works well on the iPad and Android. The Zod engine Open Source remake plays much faster and feels more enjoyable.
