I was really enjoying just playing this as an adventure game until it got to the institute section and then I had to spend time hiding and avoiding guards. I got bored of it pretty quickly then. If there was a way to skip mini-games like that it would be much better.
I used to love adventure games but I just don't have the time for them these days. I need things that are reasonably short or that I can pick up on random weekends. This game restored my faith in adventure gaming. It was fun and had a great storyline. In fact, it was so good that it encouraged me to seek out and play all the other Blackwell games - which are also great BTW. Knowing the end didn't in any way spoil the fun of the earlier games.
