This is one of my favorite games, which means everyone else will hate it. Do you like spreadsheets? Would you like to use spreadsheets to allocate resources to an AI governor and then read the yearly reports that governor sends back to you? Do you like the idea of preparing for a battle using a spreadsheet and then watching that battle play out on a minimalist low res interface? This is one of the best games I've ever played, there are few other games like it. I never got into MOO1 or MOO2, but they are way different than MOO3. I wish more games were like this.
