I had this game on the Neo Geo AES and played it for years. The controls are accurate and just forgiving enough to make it smooth. The graphics are good but were great for their time.
Finally a game that plays like the originals. A very good game.
This game is damn near perfect. The music is so amazing I even have it in my car. The control and graphics are top notch. The writing and world building is so thorough. It is jam packed with quests full of little details. It deserves to be number one in everyones book.
This game was great until you reach the end and the have to hop between chainsaws. Nothing remotely fun about that.
I loved Hollow Knight, at least, until it turned into a spinning blade mash fest. I really wanted to like Silksong but the controls are a bit slippery and playing as a glass cannon sucks. I play to relax and enjoy not participate in some self punishment fantasy.
This game lived up to the hype after all.
