I started playing at noon and then realized it was midnight before I stopped. Very nice combat system that plays more on tactics (reminds me of playing DnD with friends in highschool) than on how fast you can macro/bind keys. The characters are excellent, the storyline solid and interesting. Hours of fun, never got old and the only thing that caused me to stop was sleep needed before work. Its been DECADES since Ive enjoyed a new game as much as I enjoy this game.
My park is going gang busters. I've been downing caffeine for the last few hours. I have 1289 guests that are sick from riding my rollercoasters, but happy AND broke. Words cant discribe how nice it is to play a game that brings this much enjoyment. If you've never played, you're missing out. If you have played, you know you want to again. For its time, there was NONETHING that compared to this blockbuster. I'll leave it at that, as I have to go repair my "Tunnel of Terror".
I was very upset when my Crossfire stopped working with windows 10. I've played this game since it came out. It has always been my favorite of Sid Meier's games. When I'm bored of all the current games out this one is the one I fall back on. Centauri is fun, but Crossfire adds a huge twist to the game. The games are challenging yet not impossible. The random map generator with the opportunity of changing the other factions your against (from both games) is great. The tech build was a foundation for alot of other games you see out there. A game I'm very glad to have back on the hard drive. Thanks GOG. You guys Rock
