Cyberpunk 2077

In one word: Clunky

Review breakdown: Graphics: 4/5. The game looks amazing. The city is breathtaking with a ridiculous attention to detail, however, there's noticeable repetition, but the same can be said about any city, real life or fictional. NPCs look amazing, and are well detailed. I've experienced some graphical errors, but nothing game breaking; some texture tearing, NPC's loading in after I get to the area, NPC's disappearing on double takes, etc, but that is to be expected in a big game. Overall, graphics are good and I get reasonable performance on a mid tier gaming PC. Gameplay: 2/5 The gameplay feels very...rough. Driving is terrible. The driving in this game feels wrong. Cars handle like crap and damage is very unrealistic - I hit a guardrail head on at over 100 and just bounced off like a rubber ball when my car should of exploded or disintegrated. The gunplay...very mediocre. The cover system is unreliable and enemies are bullet sponges, even at low difficulty. Walking and running seems fine, but the controls needed a lot of fine tuning to get to that point. AI:. 1/5 What AI? This is my biggest gripe. There is no AI. Enemies run in circles around you with no intelligence or plan. Pedestrians have no collision and clip all the time (walk through me, my car or walls), and conversations with non-story NPC's are useless. Cars drive on rails, their drivers just stare when you point a gun at them, and don't care if you shoot their car. Cops teleport in whenever you break the law...they literally spawn in front of you. The lack of NPC intelligence is the most immersion breaking thing for me. Story/Voice acting: 4/5. Excellent story so far, voice acting is on par with Rockstar stuff. No major problems here. Not sure how far I'll get with the game in its current state as I just don't have fun right now... Overall: 2/5 It needs work. It should have had more time in dev. I hope it follows NMS and gets better, but its not what I call "amazing" right now. Give it some time.
