... little variance in what you actually do in the game. It's all "pick a mission & kill enemies -> loot -> inventory manage -> repeat". This is not strictly a bad thing. Personally, I really like it, because there are few curve balls; I know what to expect when I boot up the game. The "depth" I mentioned, is in the huge amount of different stats (and their associated bonuses), skill customization, and choice of weapon. There's a feeling of satisfaction when you find a combination of all three that has you breezing through the game...
