Ugh, I love Wadjet Eye but this game is a complete miss. The premise is promising but the time travel scenes require you to repeat every single dialogue choice over and over again until you learn and memorize the exact sequence needed. There’s no creativity, just get killed over and over, tediously step through the same dialogue over and over, memorize the steps that worked, and eventually you’ll get through that scene. And then it’s onto the next one. Wadjet Eye always has great voice acting talent and that’s the case here but what they say doesn’t feel period to me. I didn’t believe the characters were actually from the 1870s. You’ll hear the same (or mostly the same) lines of dialogue over and over again and still not believe you are in the 1870s.
