This game is 100% the same that I loved many years ago! Unfortunately, you have to change a few settings in the dosbox.conf to get more than a tiny window on a large monitor. But the game runs smooth and plays nice on current hardware. A true classic first person shooter from another era. If you haven't played it, try it! Otherwise you will already love it :)
I did not even find some sort of beginning in this game. At some time I saw a hint like "pause game to view the map", but there was not pause key in the options. I did not find a map. I did not find an enemy to smash the axe into. The pictures are quite nice, but I don't need fancy graphics to like a game. What I was missing are some pointers to find anything interesting.
