First class. Ingenious. Bullfrog were the master creators of this title which, not only bears a brilliant story (Of Hollywood proportions) but of game play too. Syndicate may not seem like much when you play it for the first time, but after a few tries (And giving the manual a thorough read) you will find it to be difficult to put down. Followed by Syndicate Wars (Which i am praying will be released here soon) and the recently released prequel Syndicate (2012).
When Zork originally got released back in the 70's (The MIT version), it was one complete game. During the 80's of it's commercial release however, the game was split into 3 parts because computers of that time did not have enough memory to load the entire game! Thus started the Zork Trilogy. Playing this game now may seem timid to most people. Especially in today's day and age with games now being made in 3D. But if you have a retro soft spot, playing this game with the lights out (And maybe some light on your keyboard!) will prove to be a worthy experience. There are millions of text games out there and a lot of them are really good. But this was one of the first and one of the best. Still.
Without a doubt, Tomb Raider, upon it's original release back in the mid-nineties was a milestone for adventure gaming. This as the closest thing you could get to being Indiana Jones. What came out after the third game felt like a disappointment to me which is why I always hold the highest stature for the original Tomb Raider Trilogy. Geat stories, great puzzles and locations and an unforgettable experience. Don't think. Just buy.
