I've been playing DND for over 25 years. Pre-pandemic it was 100% pencil & paper all those years. I never really payed attention to 'unncesary' stats , crafting options, stealth. I played with friends who just wanted pure action and no story. That being said, I'm enjoying Solasta A LOT. I'm staying up to 2am playing (that ain't good when you got client appoitments early in the morning....). I've never experienced a game like this. Never played either Baldur's Gate, I'm going to assume they are similar. Solasta is FANTASTIC D&D experience! Movement counts, dim light counts, your background counts, the RP even while in story-mode/cinema counts. I would even like to donate more to the cause. The game is very cheap considering the detail and experience. PS: if you are going to play it, whatever you do. DO NOT use a walkthrough. It'll destroy your D&D experiencie and therefore your enjoyment of the game
