No Man's Sky

For those having perfomance issues

Regarding Performance: I had terrible performance at first, and all was resolved as soon as I switched the Anti-Aliasing method from FXAA to SMAA. Literally a night and day difference (low end: R7 370 on an i5 3.2GHZ), though we know FXAA is more taxing anyways. There is now only ever slight stuttering in game for me, even with all the other settings on High. Review: It's about exploring and survival, and I've put in more hours than I should have in the last day. If you enjoy that kind of game, and want to discover what's in this universe, that game play loop will drive you. You very quickly learn how to manage things so that you don't get bogged down trying to find resources. Just keep some Carbon handy yo engage in conversations with you alien companions. What are these sentinels? What is the Atlas and how does it know about you? What happened to these civilizations and aliens? Why I am being pushed to the center of the galaxy? Can I learn that next new word so that I can understand what's being said to me? There are neat discoveries to be made on planets, and you will sometimes figure them out, and sometimes not. You will find some things that just take your breath away, and just make enjoy the experience. You can find creatures in the underground caverns that don't take kindly to visitors. And I'm hoping for a few more "WOW" moments before I put this game down. It's already given me quite a few, and we are paying for entertainment, not perfection, eh? I am bummed that players could not see each other and I really hope that gets fixed. I'll definitely update this as I put more time into it. Cheers, and enjoy the travels!
