It is similar to XCom, but with western flavor... If you like the genre, a good choice.

I'm a good OLD gamer (40 years old) and I've played every single game related with Dungeons and Dragons and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons since the times of Hillsfar, Pool of Radiance, Champions of Krynn. I've played Baldur's Gate and all expansion/sequels, Ice Wind Dale ecc.. I've also played other cRPG games unrelated with D&D, and I still play cRPG games, including Sci-Fi oriented (I'm playing right now Mass Effect 3) but never, NEVER! encountered a game with the same deepness as Torment. When I finished the game the 1st time I had wet eyes... I begun a new game immediately to verify if I missed anything. Over the last 20 years I finished the game another5-6ish times, just to not loose contact with this masterwork... For me, this title remains the best cRPG ever made. Point.
