I thought the first one was pretty great till I played this one (although the first one is still great, this one is just more so). Runs great on my "medium" computer. Looks fantastic and adds new elements such as wind and rain. The environments appear very alive and many times it looks like I should go "up or down" as opposed to just "left and right". Being able to reset the skills and try different ones to solve situations is a great idea. Nice that it is also clean and light-hearted, so much better than constant "dark" games. All in all a very fun game that sucks you into the Trine world.
