The Labyrinth of Time

A strange, liminal yet artistic game

The game has you clicking to walk forward or turn, moving through different time periods and locations, solving puzzles, navigating mazes; all while feeling rather uncomfortable. Everything feels "liminal" - like The Backrooms - as it's semi-realistic pre-rendered 3D locations. And it's rather the point that you feel uncomfortable. Everything is disjointed because the labyrinth builder has purposely put disparate locations and time periods together. It's unsettling - purposely. There are no jumpscares or traditional horror elements. This is a puzzle adventure with a sense of the alien about it. An extremely unusual experience that may mildly creep you out by how "liminal" it feels. But it's a decent game for the genre in the 1990s, and it'll take you a while (or even a long time) to solve. I would suggest saving a lot and DON'T overwrite your saves, there aren't many places where you can softlock but it is possible. I will say: Don't use your 25c coin the first place you see.
