Cyberpunk 2077

Cyperpunk 2077, FPS not RPG

I am a PC owner so this review is only for the PC. I am putting a list of how I as a fan of Project Red and a 1st day owner of all 3 of their Witcher Games rate this highly awaited Game. It has been a great disapointment to me because it is not a true RPG, it is a FPS with a nod to some RPG points which so far I have found do not in any way perform as they are supposed to. I have taken the Tech skill to level 8 which is supposed to let you open locks, it failed on locks marked six and seven, BROKEN, what other aspects of the skill and perks tables do not work I have yet to find out. Next point the game is linear not open world, regardless of which option you choose Nomad, Street Kid or Corp the result is the same. No matter which choices you select in all cases they will result in the same conclusion. You will always end up with a companion called Jackie, he cannot be killed util you have completed the quest for the relic chip. But a rider on this he is absolutely useless in that he does no discernable damage to your enemies, his only use is as a distraction. Regardless of what you do he dies in the car on completion of that quest. LINEAR. With my second avatar I tried to delay doing the relic quest but found out I could not return to my flat and could only use the map to find side quests and complete them Solo as you can have no companion. 1. game is not RPG it is FPS. 2. Graphics 4 star. 3. Voice acting 5 star. 4. Controls 1 star. 5. Game play 1 star. 6. Immersion/Replay 1 star. 7. Value for money 1 star. Graphics gets 4 because of the people materialising and disappearing in front of you and also if you want to try, hold W and shift and aim for the people in a crowded street, you pass through them as though they do not exist except for the odd one. In conclusion I have 11 hours play and have taken 2 of the 3 avatar options to the end of the relic quest and a bit further.
