These games have been my one great hope since I heard about GOG and now my wish has finally been granted. The fact that these games hold up at all after so many years says a lot I think. I still compare the depth of story and atmosphere of modern games to these old ones and many of them still don't compare. New franchises come and go, but the original Gold Box series had the power to create an entire generation of life-long addicts. Maybe it's the fact that we invested so many hours switching the f-ing floppy disks in and out, but I've always had an abiding love for these babies. I would probably still go through the trouble of waiting through those loading screens just to have a version that could play at normal speeds, and now we have all of these for $9.99? Thank you GOG.
