When asked about my favorite games i've ever played, this game is always on the list. I was happy to find it here on GOG. I have played through the whole game once with no issues, no crashes. And am in the middle of a second playthrough. The graphics and game play are what you would expect from a game that old. My big issue is Dash, the character you play, sometimes wants to slide as if on ice. I've slid off a cliff several times...lol The story is interesting and fits within the Star Wars universe. Consider Dash to be similar to Han Solo, except he has a robot side kick instead of a wookie. Once you complete any level, it becomes re playable. You get to use a jetpack, fight Bobba Fett, fly the snowspeeder, speeder hoverbike and fly your own ship similar to the Millennium falcon. And other things. This is just a fun, fun game in my opinion.
This is one of my favorite Pc games, and as far as I know, the best Star Trek game i've ever played (that's not saying much because I haven't played many). As for graphics and game, it is about what you expect for a game this old. I've had it a short while now and it has only crashed once. As for storyline, it must not be a Star Trek canon game because the storyline is like an alternate timeline. I don't want to say anything to ruin it for people who haven't played yet. But Trekkies will probably be unhappy with a few things in the storyline. I want to be clear, it is a good story, just think of it as an alternate timeline. If you can get past that, and just enjoy it as a game, it is fun. At least to me. You play as the Federation, Klingons, Romulans and Borg. My biggest issue is when I go into save games and delete. They delete as they should, but they end up back as if not deleted. As for replayability, for me, once I completed the game, I just replay it for kicks and enjoy it. I usually just play the last mission for each race. If you do like this type of game, I do recommend it.
