I have played NMS since it first came out, and though a bit underwhelming at the beginning, it has evolved into a wonderfull universe to explore and play around in. This game contains something for everyone and has been a game I find myself returning to again and again as the years go by, though I might play other games in between.
The short and sweet of it is that Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game. Though some problems with stability at launch, it now runs smoothly and beautifully. I have yet to play a side quest that wasn’t engaging, and the sheer size of the game guaranties replayability. The whole thing is a visceral deep dive into a dystopian near future where the best you can hope for is “shades of grey”. There are no knights in shining armor here, though a dark sense of gallows humor and some truly great characters moments are not hard to come by.
