If I consider that this game is mainly one man project, then “wow”, what an awesome job! But as a customer, I can say that this game is far from beta phase. There are a ton of missing functionalities, glitchy graphics (flickering of overlapping textures) etc. But it was sol over a million copies right from the start, so the developer has two choices: grab the money and disappear, or finish the game. And if he finishes it, it will be a blast. Right now it's fantastic looking medieval city building with not enough content. I supported him, because I'm a big fan of guys who just pursue their dream. I will follow the development progression and change my rating accordingly.
Although the game is still in Early Access, it's buoyant with content and I haven't come across any bug that would interfere with its use. This is what early access is supposed to look like. You can set the game to a very chill difficulty and just build, or get really challenged, where you'll be facing long periods of drought, or a flood of bad water. The game is something between a colony builder and a factory builder. The ability to build vertically is very refreshing. I highly recommend the game!
