Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition

Ruined fallout for me

When I was in highschool we'd look forward to this game month after month. and then it's released. and i hear nothing but praise. years later i have some free time and pick it up. I couldn't believe how faithless it is to fallout, to rpgs in general. maybe i got older? so i played new vegas and 3 again, and 2 and 1. i think ive grown older.

DOOM (2016)

really?

i am so happy i paid 4 dollars and not a cent more. all the visuals, gun animations, music cannot distract from fundamentally broken, lazy, and most of all, boring game play. boring characters. boring audio tapes. biggest sin: difficulty does not matter in the slightest.

RoboCop: Rogue City

two and a half

An entirely average game. A worn out recipe for a shooter. Brilliant graphics and feel of guns. Overall totally forgettable. I do regret my purchase.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

99% Success Rate

You might be like me. You see so many amazing reviews of the game and then you finally play it and you ask yourself, "Seriously?" The game is an absolute slog. The combat is tedious with little variety. There is not a single likeable well written character in the game. The game seems to try to compensate by having nice graphics, but graphics don't make a game in my opinion and I can see through that diversion. Additionally, the game's inventory system and just general menu is unbelievably clunky that you get a headache trying to do anything. I have no idea how this game got so successful. It truly does not deserve any praise.

BioShock™ Remastered

Was always a fan, until...

Until I played this game. I bought BIOSHOCK: REMASTERED. BIOSHOCK came out in 2007. BIOSHOCK:REMASTERED came out in 2016/2017. It is now 2023. Why on earth can this game not progress past changing the brightness? (IMMEDIATE CRASH) They have had over 10 years! I am debating whether to ask for my refund or not.... should I waste my time trying to get this to work? But frankly, I have given a lot of money to this website and A LOT of money to the developers of bioshock for far, far, far too long to have this happen to me. I don't care what my specs are, I dont care about ports, etc. When I buy a game from yall 16 years later after it made you millions of dollars, I expect the game to work flawlessly.

Cyberpunk 2077

I got swindled,

You probably heard of CDPR's great new update, right? After numerous articles discussing what a failure this game was, the news of an update brought hope I'd imagine. I always kept my distance from this company regardless, and of course, the moment i let my guard down during a summer sale is when I realize no one can escape being swindled. I can run any game on my pc, but I cant run this one. Even after downloading drivers and scouring the internet for solutions, I am left looking like a fool. The game is unplayable. I have requested a refund. I know for a fact this is the first and last CDPR game I will own. While attemting to run this game at 5 fps, I also noticed that it in no way reflects the trailers or what was advertised about the game. No wonder even Keanu Reeves, the "bait", hasnt even played this representation of modern day gaming ... a scam.

Prey

so so so fast the sailing ships

I stumbled upon this game when it was on sale, just after finishing dishonored 2. I saw it was by the same studio, and given i never heard anything of this game, i thought it would be similar to dishnored, or probably a miss. This is one of the best games i have ever played, and I rarely ever post reviews, so i am not just saying that. The crafting system, the atmosphere, the art, the characters, the story, the emails (lol), the decisions, the difficulty level. Just wow, what a journey. Yea the combat is a little weird, but at the same time, thats kind of part of the game. There could be more enemies, but I am happy that the enemies that ARE in the game are as stimulating as they are. There are a lot of ways to play this game, and that is one of its strongest characteristics. Honestly sad to have explored as much of the game as i have, because its one of those games you wish would never end. Looking forward to the DLC. If anyone from Arcane reads this, thank you sincerely for such an awesome experience.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

My One and Only

This has been my favorite game for years. -Incredible Characters -Being able to create your own character, and make world changing decisions -Cool music on the radio that will get stuck in your head -Fun weapons -An incredible atmosphere -The foundation upon which thousands of hours of additional content has been created by other people -You don't have a father or son as soon as the game starts
