Pros: - Fun space fighting and exploration, not too complex, good scope and atmosphere. - Good game mechanics IN SPACE ONLY (see cons about drone) - Good story line although the main characters are very annoying to listen to. Not at all the kind of personalities that would be doing what they are doing. This gets a bit better as the story progresses but its very abrasive at times. Cons: - UI is awful, apparently because they had to make it compatible with whatever other console, sounds like a them problem that had to be the easiest thing to fix. - Drone mechanics and game/story is a useless addition that ruined the game for me. It becomes quite literally unplayable in the later stages of the story. Something about the way the thing moves with the camera, oversensitive mouse or idk. Tried all settings, its just terrible. I can barely aim to open static boxes. Also the 'evade' parts of this mini-game make no sense. None of the line-of-sight mechanics seem to actually do anything, you just have to follow a predetermined path (which can take a while of boring tries to get). It's really a terrible addition to the game, I have no idea how something so bad and with so much player pushback (from forum reading) made it through to the final game. I was enjoying it enough to just rush through the mini-game whenever I had to, until I couldn't anymore its so broken. So now I can't finish the campaign and I'm pretty bitter about that. People should know, the drone mini-game is totally broken and has to be removed before they can call this a playable game. Or remove the campaign and let people decide if its worth it for the 'sandbox' experience. Or make it skippable if you don't want to fix it. Anyway, so many things they could have done instead that excuses are not acceptable. I don't even care if there's a 'fix' for this out there I haven't found, it's not my problem. So that's it, could've been a decent game. I really did enjoy it otherwise.
