Total Annihilation: Commander Pack

Legendary granddaddy of the RTS genre

I still remember playing this as a 10 yo in 1998. The stunning 3d graphics, innovative genre-defining gameplay, humongous amount of content (great DLC) and bombastic reactive soundtrack was truelly awesome. Nothing came even close in the next decade. Then Chris Taylor blessed us again in 2007 with Supreme Commander, its spiritual succcesor. Total Annihilaion still holds op pretty well. The graphics do feel dated and the pathfinding is archaic. Since this 28 yo game truelly defined the genre its gameplay/UX still holds op great. Sound design and OST is still 10/10 I do advise players to scale back ingame resolution. 720p works great on my 1440p monitor.

DREDGE

Half decent, the first half

TL:DR Got this for free and i did enjoy myself. Played it through to the end Fun start, decent gameplay loop, graphics, ambience and mechanics. Got stale about halfway and the last relic felt like a chore. The ending sequence (point of no return) is by far the worst part of the game.
