Terrific game in general, and gets my highest ranking for a Rift game. They did so many things right - high detail (little text, grime, bee wings) on things you get close to, the ability to operate an array of gadgets, and a spectacular use of 3D fractals toward the end. The alternate timeline story was also very well done, I especially liked the unfamiliar synopsis on the backs of familiar novels.
Note the negative reviews are complaining the next act hasn't been released yet. That should tell you something - because if this game wasn't worth a damn, nobody would care. Truth is, it's so engrossing you can't wait to see what happens next.
