A must play for anyone who enjoys this genre. The game is definitely worth playing; shoot, play the whole series. Each game was so buggy when released it would have been infuriating except the games were so intriguing I couldn't wait to reboot after every crash. Plenty of humor, just enough twists to keep you wondering and one of the first true open roaming games. Though the main story is a linear progression there is plenty of side stuff to keep you from feeling like you are stuck in an epic rail-story. The beginning keeps you on your toes, no OP start that suddenly thrusts you into insta-death play. No you can easily die right off, so you get your learning curve over quickly. It is so easy to vary your playstyle. Some games just don't lend to ranged or magic user styles and almost force you into melee. This one actually plays incredible using ALL the styles. Worth every penny.
Hands down one of the best of all time. I remember booting up this game after it first hit the shelves and being floored. Still have all the original discs, even though I can't run them. Thanks, GOG, for getting this jewel in here.
