When it was ok to make comedy offensive <3 this game is one of the funniest games to date. An absolute CLASSIC <3 <3 <3 Everyone should own this in their collection!
Greatest of Classics up there with Monkey Island, but Gawd dang those puzzles were complicated!
The new art style looks like it's been done by 1st year students or ... actual monkeys perhaps. It's absolutely awful and ugly, loses all the atmosphere and feeling of the original. Monkey Island is also better without actual speech in many's opinion, because when we all played the original, it was perfect to the voices we gave characters in our minds. :)
When I started with the prologue, and i had a full team, and loads of health, super powers, and a million items I had no idea what they did... I thought, "Ok.. I'm not going to like this without any clue what's going on", but so glad I held out to see the prologue through :) Everything makes sense directly after, since it's part of the tutorial, to throw you in the deep end guessing for a little while. When you understand Art / Craft powers, it becomes a lot like Persona. There is loads of story / dialogue as expected with Jrpgs, but it's actually a very entertaining story!!! It made me laugh a couple of times, which is very rare for a story alone. It is without western political correctness, and keeps men and women as different sexes as they should be. A Really excellent game! Just get past that prologue, and all will make sense ^^
Beautiful Nostalgia, and still Great fun despite the ancient graphics :D This game you need to get the "Die by the Sword - Xtended v1.6.0" - Mod to get it working properly. http://forum.hazardx.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64 It's very easy to install, just extract the contents to the installation folder, and play. It has been known to crash in on the main quest the first time it runs, but have no fear, it should play fine after a restart. It's a superb game, and even better multiplayer. Swords actually clash and fly off around all over the place, taking off other players limbs by accident sometimes, which can be hilarious, all accompanied by the Hero saying, "Bloody Hell!" :D GREAT!

It's only a early access, it doesn't take long to finish, but it's an amazing experience with quality graphics and inspiration. Love finding the secret locations, they are very rewarding and not frustratingly hidden like other games. Very nice and balanced story. Pretty easy mind, but that's not always a bad thing. Can't wait for the next part!
