Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

This game is a copy of many other games the novety is that they chose to copy the bad: 1 Some quest never end b/c the quest giver dissapears. 2 There is no fast travel so you have to walk from place to place killing wolfs and bandits along the way. This is great when you are still building a character but becomes boring quikly after that. 3 The best line your 'Paws" will give you is: "What a large tree" commenting on, you guessed it A Large Tree. Do not expect any banter or even 1 funny line. It is not there. 4 Wolves hunt in packs, they may or may not, I have no need to hear it every time we encounter them. 5 Can we get other enemies then Wolves, seems in any RPG wolves are the bad guys, like rats hardly original but then nothing in this game is. 6 No surprise the quest are like all the others in many a game: Get a hundred of these, kill this many of that, and the age old Wolvenstein (1990 I think) favourite find the key to open this door/gate. Bad guys are real idiots tthey keep losing their keys in the most unlikely of places 7 There is an autosave and you can save, basically you then overwrite the autosave. No problem but watch what you restart or else you may end up at some point way back when.... and then you will have to do it all over again. 8 Your pawns do learn from fights so they say. Strangely they always get hit by the same boulder on your way to someplace while you easily manage to jump out of the way or just wait in a safe place while it Boulders you by crushing your smart companions along its way 9 and how is this for originality: You kill a Cyclops and then you have to kill it again. But wait it gets better because after that you will have to kill it again. A find in the Genius savant way except it is actually a real stupid way to kill an enemy, no finesse here or anywhere else in the game. 10 You can give your pawns some commands (3) but stay here or hold or do not walk into my view is not one of them. Anything good to find here? Graphics are okay not outsttanding A good story? To be honest most of these games have lousy stories with little or no logic but that is okay, I'll read a book if I realy want that so in defense of Dragons Dogma they have copied that as well and that is fine with me. If the price drops to 1,99 euro get it and have some fun
