Cyberpunk 2077

Great game on the PC

First a bit about my specs: Intel i7 1080Ti, 11 GB graphics card 512 GB OS drive solid state, game installed on a 2 TB spinning The bad: Glitchiness really starts after you meet up with Johnny some of it has to do with INTENTIONAL glitches he is causing and others are glitches to the game itself. I have repeatedly gotten stuck in "hacking vision" (tab key) mostly around alt tabbing, but sometimes it just stays stuck in a limbo state between hacking vision and being able to use guns. This is easily fixed by saving real quick and loading the save. Otherwise you may have to fall back to an autosave, but the game DOES THOSE A LOT so you usually aren't losing much. I have also heard that your save files cannot get very large or they corrupt... I haven't ran into this yet but I am sure they will patch it. Driving cars is a chore, vehicular manslaughter is a surprise to the driver and pedestrian. The good: It is pretty much on par for what I was expecting, it is very much like witcher 3 was on release, they ironed things out but it took a few....Now though everyone is just eviscerating it....that may be coming from it's release on consoles. Graphics run great at full, I do recommend going into the settings though and turning population down to low or medium to keep from running over so many useless pedestrians. Fighting is fun and enjoyable to slowly build up power into, I would say its a cross between Farcry 3, Witcher 3, and a bit of the loot avalanche of borderlands. If your PC is on the higher end still game is great. This game is supposed to be a single player experience, you go through a few times (3-5) enjoy the entertainment try different things. It isn't a gta or an MMO, you need to play a character V, that is much more on rails than people are used to anymore, your choices are from V, so sometimes you dont completely agree... but its more like following a choose your own adventure book than it is an open world adventure with your own persona.

Tactical and Strategic Mech game with shields

If you played Earthsiege 2 (the masterpiece) this is a strategic compliment to it. I just saw it here on GOG and I will be buying it. I am going to let it sit on my wishlist a bit see if it will go on sale. At one point Sierra's HERCs went toe to toe with Activision's MECHs. HERCs were better, they had shields and a tendency to use arguably more destructive weaponry. Like ELFs (electron flux lightning weapons) and Plasma cannons. Due to the nature of the game-play, graphics upgrades in the industry wont matter much should be as good today as it was when it came out. You play on a hex grid and have control of your facings and shield facings. I will update this review after I have checked into it for stability on windows 10, but I look forward to it. I expect it will have to be run at much lower resolution than modern displays usually run, but again shouldnt be an issue once you adjust as you can ZOOM WAY out on the tactical maps.
