Screen flickering, random stuttering during the transition, the graphic filter makes all the scene too much blurry. Talking about the game. The puzzles are very tough , especially one puzzle if you are non-native english speaker i think you will need to check the solution. When you solve one of the puzzles you get a quick scene that should explains you to game plot, but because usually puzzles can be solved almost in any order you have to pick up all the plot parts. As a remaster is actually a 0 star game, the soundtrack and the game cover improved it by one star!
It's a game that starts good then it falls flat on his face, it crawls through the mud for 15-20 hours and when it starts to get back on his feet the race is already finished. Don't buy bother the DLCs they are not worth the price for the content they provide.
While the third episode has boring puzzles and camera control but a good story that manages to keep you going, this one has more interesting puzzles (a part from the hacking puzzles that i think they are out of place) and a better controls. You can use both keyboard and mouse and you can rebind keyboard buttons (you can bind the movement keys to WASD for example), so the various review that criticize the player's movement i think they are a little biased. The problem lies in the story, it manages to keep you interested for a little but then it becomes boring and uninspired. I would give three stars, but even here you can skip dialogues so 2 stars.
Yea the western settings is cool, but after playing the first commando you can clearly notice that the developpers lacked the experience to design interesting level. Most of level are crammed with enemies, and it is just a matters of grinding through them for finishing the scenario. The game is more "shooty" than commando but the problem is that engine itself is not "fluid" enough to handle a proper shooting. The manual rants how much the enemy will react to the sound your characters make, but the player has no audio / visual clue about that. I can't understand how this game is rated so higly, as a proper commando game it fails really bad.
