Great puzzle game

The best puzzle game since Talos Principle in my opinion. Full review: https://fdossena.com/?p=relicta/i.md

I want to love this game

This game has a really nice feel and atmosphere to it. However it has some critical flaws: -Combat is absolute trash, if you get into a fight you might as well reload your last save because most enemies are completely invulnerable to your attacks, and a lot of times you can't even see them attacking (they're meters away and hit you and you can't see any projectile). Speaking of saving, the game has too few checkpoints and you must remember to save often. It also lets you save while in combat so you can save when you're dying which is terrible. -There are a few bugs: in some places you can go outside of the map simply by jumping; sometimes you die and the game doesn't notice (you can literally save while you're dead); if you come back from the desert before finishing the radio antenna mission, the marker for the portal disappears from your compass and you're left wandering around in the forest, hoping to find that portal again. These are the bugs I ran into, but I'm sure there's more since other users are complaining. -Running and jumping should not waste resources, but that's just my opinion. -ANI gets stuck too easily. I understand that she cannot jump, but sometimes she can't even climb a slope and I have to carry her sorry ass to the top. Not fun. On the plus side: -Great atmosphere -Nice graphics for an indie game (especially for unity), runs very smoothly -The crafting system is ok and it's not annoying like many others survival games -The story is nice Overall it's not bad. I give it a 6/10, or a 7.5/10 when the bugs are fixed.

Turok

A fantastic first person shooter

This game is the most stereotypical 90s game I've ever played, and I love it! Ultra macho character CHECK! Fighting humans, monsters, aliens and robots for no apparent reason CHECK! Shitloads of enemies and weapons CHECK! Huge levels with incredible level design CHECK! Boss fights CHECK! Technically impressive... well for 1997... CHECK! Literally 1 line of dialog in the whole game CHECK! The game is really fun to play, and it's good to have a version of it that runs out of the box on modern hardware, but there are a couple of things I didn't like. First of all: the price! 20 euros for an old game are quite a lot, but it was really fun to play so I'll forgive that Second: some enemies respawn, and it's immensely annoying, especially those bloody flies! Last but not least: the map sucks ass! No zoom, and a lot of times, some areas aren't even mapped. I can understand not showing secret areas, but a lot of caves aren't mapped either, and the tutorial literally says that if you get lost in a cave, you can use the map. Real clever.
