An absolute before and after in gaming history. Infinitely replayable, refreshingly innovative storytelling, unbelievably deep ambiance with such minimal spacial resources, I can never get enough of Papers, please.
I always come back to this. The ambiance, the aesthetics, the "open world"-ness of it all keeps pulling me back. I've never even gotten to the story missions, to me it's always a good time to just fart around hacking things
Although it can get repetitive after a bit, I always come back to this game, it's very relaxing to me, and the population mechanics are always a challenge. I haven't tried out mods or really gotten to a BIG population stage, but I really like the music, the ambient and the little details like the villager's names, their schedules, their family arrangements. Really enjoyable, relaxed vibe game with a bit of waiting for things to develop and to have the resources to keep growing.
