Fall of Porcupine: Prologue

A beautiful game that needs recognition

The art style. Its wonderful. I love the Aesthetics and the colors. You really make fall look like what people envision in their heads. And being a fan of fall weather. I absolutely reveled in every moment I spent outside in this game. I did notice a few minor graphical glitches in the trees when I was traversing the forest with the adorable Pina. Second. The characters are just great, absolutely great. Great designs that stand out. Yeah, you can how the non-essentials are done of a template, all the primaries are unique and memorable. Even the codger in the bar. Each character stands out and pops. They are unique compared to each of the other main cast. I can see you guys had a lot of fun designing every one. I have my favorites, Pina, an Karl. Ingid seems like she will be interesting to talk to constantly, an Krokowski seems like she has a story too. The worlds surroundings are very full of details. I really love that you can sometimes just strike a conversation with others. Gives more life and feeling to the story. Gameplay is solid. Maneuvering around felt fluid. Platforming felt a bit off. But still solid. The thing that got me a bit at first were the minigame puzzles. For those who havent played, the minigame puzzles require you to perform displayed button presses or hold downs. With a controller, these presses can be a bit complicated. One step required me to press: right d-pad, L analogue stick up, R analogue stick down, cross, triangle, and then square. Do not get me wrong, it can be done, but it was like performing gymnastics on my controller. But I guess it can opt for a glimpse of typical doctor/nurse duty difficulties. Even tho. I still looked forward to playing them when they popped up. The music was atmospheric and relaxed. It just felt right. I am a fan of the music, total fan. The game was so enjoyable for me. Totally reminiscent of NITW, another game of this style I immensely enjoyed. I am eagerly awaiting its release. You should too.
