I remember spending dozens of hours with Zeus back in 2000s. Beautiful art, amazing music, the humor here and there. It was amazing back then, and still holds up today.
The original game was great. This one gives you more of the same. And I'm fine with it.
It has cute art. It has a meh story. It has god awful cat puns, which aren't even real puns. It has, like, ten enemies. Every quest is a fetch quest. There's no variety in combat.
"Gamepad Recommended"? More like "Gamepad Pretty Much Required". The default keyboard control scheme is cancer. You can rebind some keys, but not some others. So if you try to go for something like WASD control scheme, you'll end up with A & D to be left/right, but up and down in the UI are still done with arrow keys. And you can't bind actions to mouse keys. I also had a massive FPS drop at the beginning of this 2D game. Gonna ask for a refund.
And yet I LOVE this game. 5/5, literally a piece of art.
Runs well on my macbook pro, albeit on minimal settings. My only wish is so that tank decorations have visual variantion, because otherwise your aquariums end up being filled with the same rocks and plants over and over.
