Once you buy this game, you have to choose wic version you want to launch, you ave the updated "HD" version, but it doesn't have battlenet and it contains some bugs such as arkaine's valor quest not working. Or you have the original version which has battlenet but you can't alt tab out of it which is extremely annoying. That said, this is one of the best games of all time. Anyone who likes the other Diablo games but doesn't play this, you are a fool. People even love Diablo 2 and talk smack about the original diablo. How ignorant is that? I don't know why people feel the need to talk smack about the original Diablo. If you are a fan of the newer Diablo games, you should at least respect the original Diablo. If you're looking for a way to make this game an absolute thrill, I highly recommend playing it "hardcore glitchless". This means no duping, but also no saving / exitting. You have to play from start to end in a single playthrough. If you die, delete your character and start again. The level of excitement playing this way in unparallelled. Artistically, it's perhaps the greatest game of all time, from the music and sound to the graphics and voiceacting, it's just beautuful. It will envoke powerful emotions within you. It's a somewhat dark and depressing atmosphere but also comforting, somehow. I love Diablo and I highly recommend you play it!
