Completely blinded by nostalgia. This game is excellent. However the difficulty of the game is extremely hard. I give this game 4 stars but I can honestly say I have never finished it. Even though I got it for the megadrive on release day! If by some miracle you make it to the final boss showdown. There are several encounters of which unless you can remember patterns (Think a little bit like the end of sonic 2, but HARDER). You will lose lives over and over again. That being said it is great fun to play. The visuals were excellent back in the day and still hold a certain charm. The music was good and the bonus levels were fun (albeit anxiety inducing!)
This game is currently £3.99 in sainsburys. Would be nice if GoG could rival that price.
