It is fantastic modern looking, classic feeling, first person shooter! It feels like they captured the essence of RoboCop here. I always share the negatives as well so here it goes. - I had one crash to desktop, but thanks to the generous autosave system, I didn't lose significant progress. - At one point I experienced extreme performance drop. Only after restarting the game, did it go away and I was able to replay the affected segment of the game without a problem. - This is personal preference, but to me, the rag doll kills are not RoboCop enough. In the movies, deaths are very animated, people would take several seconds to fall down and die. I assume this would have been way too expensive to do here, but I am still mentioning it as a negative. Overall, I recommend this game fully even to people that don't have RoboCop nostalgia goggles.
It almost feels like a different game. The loop is almost the same though. I'd say, if you liked previous versions of the game you will like this one as well. But if you are like that guy crying over achievements, I am afraid nothing will make you feel better, not even this game, with achievements.
...if it's already what you are looking for. It's more like an art gallery than a game... even for point and click standards. I had a blast with it, but I would only recommend it if you are looking for a couple of hours worth of story, told via beautiful art. Also, the game has some of these point and click puzzles, where you have shapes associated with numbers that reveal a code... I don't mind those, I like drawing little notes on a piece of paper, but I don't think such puzzles were well suited here.
If you like nonogram puzzles this game has a few and a funny fairy tail-ish Hollywood story that goes with them. It doesn't stand out as a masterpiece or anything but it's alright. However, the story isn't skippable so if you don't like reading mostly pointless dialogue/flavor text, I'd suggest to avoid it.
I thought these games would be a decent wank and nothing more. It turned out the stories are actually fun as well. I feel like if you are wondering if you might have fun with the games you most probably will. I don't believe the games are actually good enough to change the opinion of someone who already knows they wont like them. Kudos to the dev that put so much effort into something that could have backfired on them.
