In this game you are the ruler, not the adventurers. The adventurers have a strange intelligence and some of your rewards will be hard to earn more due to them then due to you, but you also have spells and defense towers. The heroes have fun personalities and the towns are fun to build. Some of the missions are hard and others are a lot easier then they seem. Being a fantasy ruler is fun though and the game is challenging on the harder difficulties. Good luck!
Not all Sierra games are good, but this one is. There are some old style point and click gaming in this one. That's both bad and good though as anyone who have gone through a lot of adventure games of this type. The story is good and so is most of the dialogue. It does have a certain style though and I guess you have to like that style.
This is a great magic school simulator, even though all your students are younger, therefore a lot like Hogwars. The different magic schools is however a lot like Dnd, which is a good thing. The game is a bit strict in its structure, which makes it difficult to win sometimes. This can be a good thing, but sometimes it feels too much. The game is quite deep and it's fun to see how many archmages you manages to create. There's a few bugs that can be irritating too, but mostly you don't notice them. I find it a happy journey from start to finish.
