I’m quite pleased with Those Who Rule! As a longtime fan of tactical RPGs, I immediately noticed its strong resemblance to the Fire Emblem series — from the grid-based combat to the emphasis on strategy and character relationships. However, what really sets Those Who Rule apart is how it takes positioning to the next level. Being able to choose exactly which direction you character faces after combat adds an extra layer of depth that I absolutely love. The fact that backstabs and flanking attacks actually matter forces you to think several moves ahead and rewards smart play. It’s a refreshing twist that makes every turn feel meaningful and tactical. The game is low-fantasy though, so no magic or monsters. If you enjoy turn-based strategy games with thoughtful mechanics and engaging battles, Those Who Rule is absolutely worth your time.
