Well, a great game from my youth. Nothing much to say, we played it a lot. Some love it some do not. Unfortunately, the backgroundmusic also does not work for me. On the other hand, I consider the music from the first game the better one ;-) Unfortunately, it hung up my computer with Windows 10 multiple times. A hard reset was necessary. So I write this in an effort that you will read it and can get it to run. First, if you want to run it the first time, make sure you don't have anything running or not saved that is important!! Secondly, if you run it from GOG Galaxy or from the start menu, you may encounter Explorer and other applications to hung up and freeze. This always happened to me when I ran the Link File "Launch Worms 2" which in turn runs "GOGLauncher.exe". This is an console application that outputs "Qt: Untested Windows version 6.2 detected!" on Windows 10. Surely it is untested, because if I run "frontend.exe" from the Worms folder, Worms 2 runs just fine for me. Therefore I edited the link file to link to the frontend.exe (which will not show the videos). Thirdly, it may only run fine if you replace win32.dll with a version that is available in a Worms 2 thread in the GOG forum (it seems the original creator of that file did not read Microsoft documentation on how not to make a DLL file. It just ran all windows versions because of pure luck :D ) . There is also a download for a higher ingame resolution from http://worms2d.info/ReSolution . The videos seems to have a sound problem, since the audio is ahead of the video. VLC can fix it though.
