I would like to review this game, but unfortunately, it does not work for me at all. My rig runs Witcher 3, Fallout 4 at ultra settings, and plenty of other games, but simply will not run NMS. Fully updated drivers, yadda yadda. No go. I think they most likely did very little QA with optimizing for different MBs and CPUs. Beware if you have an AMD CPU, even if it's beefier than an i3, because as of right now, the game won't run for you (most likely). Maybe they'll fix this in future, but in the meantime, I've requested a refund.
There isn't a single adventure game I'd place higher than this exquisitely crafted masterpiece. The writing is top-notch, the puzzles are fun and relate to story and atmosphere, and some of the visuals are still stunning to this day. The follow up, Dreamfall, was nowhere near as good, and it was an excellent game. Simply put - it's the most fun and artistic pleasure you can wring out of the adventure genre. And it lasts a very long time without a boring moment.
