Having just completed The Blackwell series finale I realized that this was not just a game about a medium and some ghost. This was actually about real living people! Their lives, loves, fears and who they were. Most importantly it’s about the city, namely New York City. It’s a slice of what New York might be like. That’s what makes this game a cut above other similar game. The writing is brilliant! The dialogue, the stories and the characters in Dave Gilbert’s New York are alive not dead. It was touching, sad, funny, scary, entertaining and profound. Bravo! Beautiful writing! I am so glad I got to experience The Blackwell games all together. Would love to see Dave Gilbert write a novel. It’s pretty high praise for a video game..
Another great intsalment in what is becoming a fovourite series! Well written, well acted and well put together. Highly recommend it.
