It only loses to Diablo II, but the ambience is the best.
Homm4 promised a lot, but the good things delivered were overshadowed by the bad ones. Battlefield and map perspectives are awful, just as some races. The hero itself being active can be good and a bad thing, but certainly a fresh idea.
Of all HOMM games, Heroes 2 is the most classic, but Heroes 3 is the best of all. It enhances the homm2 experience with a lot of good ideas, keeping what worked on the former version. Buy IT! I need someone to download my maps, lol!
Geez, the game stars SO WELL, even with a lot of useless and boring QTE, it's awesome till the middle of the game. Afterwards, story is HORRIBLE. It's truly an abomination in writing.
