I would love to play this game, unfortunately it runs extremely slowly on my computer, which is a modern powerful gaming laptop handling the latest releases, most frustrating as its unplayable, its like its on 0.5 speed, tweeking options provides no joy either.
Well I purchased this in like May, played the hell out of it and then.... just stopped, but today I picked it up and finished the last few levels, at first I was overwhelmed opening my save to face quick paced carnage but I survived and I enjoyed it. This game captures the spirit of DK1 +2 magically, properly the true successor to these games. It does well to capture the spirit of the orginials, I will say the only thing that was a bit of a let down was the ending, I'm not for a second saying the writers didnt intend it to feel rushed and a bit unplanned but thats how it came across and for me thatfelt like a bit of a kick in the teeth the last level wasnt as challengeing as some of the preceeding but I assume they wanted you to enjoy the level as, you've put time and effort into it, if you played DK1 +2 you owe it to yourself to have a go and have an opinion of this game, you can tell the developers had the best intention at heart and love went into it (except the ending)
