Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™

Way Overrated..

I usually play all my games like this on Console. Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, New Vegas, Deus Ex, etc. The game is good but would be GREAT if it were on console. While the controls are simple, I find that console games are the only ones I can stand nowadays. I got to the 3rd town in game and it was kind of meh. But, put it on console and I will be right there!

Neverwinter Nights Diamond

This game is not an Infinity Engine Game

I can't stop saying that in my head. This game could have been good but fails miserably. The boss fights are terrible because mages and priests who happen to be some of the base game and expansions bosses, are unstoppable. In Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale and even planescape, you fight a mage, attack him and hit him before he casts a spell. In this game the mages are like gods of the universe and you not only can't hit them, but even if you do the concentration skill lvl is so high they never get a disrupted spell. I recruited gnolls and attacked this mage with an army and she just destroyed everyone and still at uninjured. The boss battles in game are terrible and I would say certain classes can't get through certain games. I urge you to play Planescape, Icewind Dale and Baldurs Gate and forget about this miscarriage of a game.

Avadon: The Black Fortress

Favorite Spiderweb Game-A lot of fun

I first got turned off from Avadon as I played Geneforge 1 and barely made it through the game alive. I looked at this game as very little choices involved in making a character. What I found out was as I played more, I liked Avadon more than any other spiderweb game. Its got a great story like Geneforge, the main difference is that its much easier making a character that works. Out of any game I played, I've never seen such excellent characters/npcs in game. Even Geneforge's NPC's had less depth than characters such as Redbeard who I found to be funny, but with lethal malice and intent. What I also found out later too is that due to the newer stat/skill system, there are actually a lot more combinations for characters than you may think. Only good old games can make games like this known by everyone and I would like to thank them for doing this. These games might be dated with graphics, but there is alot of people like me that like this kind of niche.

Inquisitor

Awful-Just frustrating and Awful

This could have been a great game. However due to some really bad game mechanics and how the game is designed, Inquisitor is let down by some really bad design choices that result in a game which is one-quarter charming and engrossing, but three-quarters frustrating, repetitive and monotonous in the extreme. This game has some of the worst game balance I have ever seen in an RPG, overly linear quest design, a lack of player influence on the story, awful combat, and massive amounts of filler content, Inquisitor's leaves nothing to be desired. While it does have its strong points, it will take an incredibly strong-willed player to endure the dozens upon dozens of hours of torturous gameplay it takes to reach the good parts. If you want to play a game that is fun and you can enjoy the story, likely you will have a tough time defeating the first few enemies, with maybe 3 health and stamina potions I might add. I played the game to circumvent that with a high stamina and the game was still just a disaster. There's a reason people are called insane when it takes 12 years to finish a game and it comes out like this.
