I was blessed to have a dad who bought the big box copy back when it was released. To this day nothing comes close to how sensational this game is. The music, effects, story, graphics and everything else is absolutely fantastic. One reccomendation is that anymore who buys this checks out the Freespace 2 Open project as to this day they are improving the game engine and mission editor and after playing with the mods the game looks like it has been made this year. Cannot rate this game highly enough.
